Team Oluyole Welcome Team Kalotari to Ibadan

Another weekend beckons as action returns to the Blue Group from Saturday through to Sunday in the NCC Tennis League.

Despite standing a very slim or no chance of qualification to the next round, Team Oluyole will be hoping to turn their fortunes around as they host Team Kalotari this weekend.

Team Kalotari will be looking to continue their impressive form when they take on the Ibadan based team.

Team Oluyole have lost all their matches in the competition despite having played in front of their home crowd more often than not.

Team Kalotari started their own campaign with a flawless 7-0 victory over Team Optiwebb in Ilorin.

A fortnight later, Team Kalotari replicated the same feat against VGC Lions in Port Hacourt before going down fighting against championship favourite, Team Muller 4-3.

Blessing Samuel of Team Kalotari has been fantastic in the Ladies’ Singles event while  the duo of Christian Paul and Emmanuel Sunday have equally given good accounts of themselves in the Men’s Doubles category.

Team Oluyole are condemned to win this match. Failure to do so will see any chance of advancing to the money-spinning semifinals gone.

Team Kalotari also need to win this game badly, know fully well that only two teams will make it out of the group, especially with the fact that they have a totally identical record in the competion with joint second placed Team Civil Defence.

Writer’s Verdict:

Team Kalotari will be confident of a victory despite losing their last match.

Team Oluyole makes this fixture very easy to predict because of many reasons.

Team Kalotari definitely have this in the bags already.

I give it to Team Kalotari 7-0.

The matches will go down at the Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan from Saturday September 23rd – Sunday September 24th.
