Argentine Juan Martin del Potro beat South African Kevin Anderson on Centre Court in Acapulco to win his first ATP 500 title since 2013 and 21st ATP World Tour crown.
One break in each set was enough to give del Potro his first title of the year and the world number nine did not face a single break point as he secured a 6-4, 6-4 win over the big-serving South African.
The Argentine won the title by battling through a tough draw that included a trio of top 10 players.
He defeated Mischa Zverev, four-time Acapulco champion David Ferrer, No. 6 Dominic Thiem and No. 5 Alexander Zverev before dispatching world number eight Anderson.
Del Potro will move up to 8th in the world when the updated ranking list is released on Monday.
