It’s semifinals day at the Rolex Paris Masters in Paris.
So, let’s make good use of what we have!
Karen Khachanov to beat Dominic Thiem at 1.73 on Wakabet ATP Paris Masters, semifinals
Russia’s Karen Khachanov and Dominic Thiem will meet for a place in the final of the Paris Masters. Both men have been playing well all week, but I like Khachanov for the win here.
The surface favours the Russian’s style of play- his big flat hitting. While Thiem is also a big hitter, his style is more suited to the clay court than the quick indoor hard courts. That should prove to be the difference between the two. And 1.73 for the win is just too good!
Novak Djokovic vs Roger Federer (Over 22.5 games at 1.87 on Wakabet), ATP Paris Masters, semifinals
So much history between these two. Both players have played well so far and I fancy this match, their 47th meeting, going the distance. Djokovic is on a 21-match winning streak, while Federer is fresh off the back of a title-winning run in Basel and playing with better confidence. He’s also seeking to win his first Masters 1000 title this season.
Both players wouldn’t allow the other stay on top for too long, which spells a tight, evenly contested match. Over 22.5 games should decide this and at 1.87? Good pick!
