Tennis action continues this week in Rotterdam and New York and like always, I have the top bet tips from across the board.
Daniil Medvedev to beat Jeremy Chardy at 1.23 on Wakabet, ATP Rotterdam
Medvedev is fresh off a title-winning run at the Sofia Open. This season he’s gone 11-2 and is in very fine form. The Russian surely will go into his match full of confidence and I expect him to get the win against the unseeded Chardy, who hasn’t been as good as his 22-year-old opponent this season.
Jo-Wilfred Tsonga to beat Thomas Fabbiano in straight sets at 1.43 on Wakabet, ATP Rotterdam
Tsonga is on the back of a title triumph at the Montpelier Open and will look to carry the momentum into Rotterdam. Here, Tsonga should be too strong for Fabbiano, who came in through the qualifying rounds. With only two match wins this season, I don’t see Fabbiano withstanding the sheer power of Tsonga, who should get through this with relative ease, given the shaky form of the Italian.
Milos Raonic to beat Stan Wawrinka at 1.38 on Wakabet, ATP Rotterdam
Wawrinka has continued to struggle. For over a year now good results have been few and far between for the former world number three. And this doesn’t look like a good match-up for him. Raonic is playing well this season and still boasts his incredible service game, which Wawrinka will have problems fending off.
Raonic should have just enough to see off the Swiss in the end.
Ivo Karlovic vs Radu Albot (Over 22.5 games at 1.75 on Wakabet), ATP New York
Both men haven’t been so spectacular this season. I fancy this being a closely-contested encounter. Karlovic knows how to stay in a match using his big serves Albot, on the other hand, should have enough to trouble the Croat.
