Roberto Bautista Agut and Jan-Lennard Struff meet in the semis of the Winston-Salem Open.
Bautista came off a straight sets win over America’s Taylor Fritz that took 21 games to decide. Bautista who has lost his last three semi-final appearances is hoping to make his second final appearance of the season and the 12th of his career.
These two have played once, which was in the Barcelona Open this year. A match in which Bautista edged past Struff in straight sets.
Struff, now, will be looking for some sort of redemption this time. Good thing he is also in impressive form.
Jan-Lennard Struff is hoping to make his first ever ATP final appearance, but would he be able to overcome the brilliant Spaniard?
The match kick offs at 2:00am, August 26th.
Further action will take place at the Connecticut Open where No. 2 seed Dominika Cibulkova will face Elise Mertens for a place in the final.
Cibulkova will be aiming to reach her first final of the year when she takes on Elise Mertens in their first ever meeting.
Cibulkova secured her place in the semis after she beat Pavlyuchenkova 7-5, 6-4.
Elise Mertens, meanwhile, had a lucky break as Shuai Zhang of China was unable to compete in the Quarter final clash.
Would it be a third time lucky for Cibulkova?
Match is set to kick-off at 20:00, August 25th.
