Monday’s top betting tips from Delray Beach and Marseille

First round action continues today, Tuesday at the Delray Beach Open in Florida and the Marseille Open in France. As always, I bring you the best bet tips from across the board, with odds from Wakabet.

Juan Martin del Potro to beat Yoshihito Nishioka at 1.29 on Wakabet ATP Delray Beach

Del Potro, the world No.4, is returning to action at the Delray Beach Open after an injury layoff and he takes on Japan’s Nishioka in the first round. I like Del Potro for the win here. Despite not being in action for a while, the Argentinian should have just enough to see off the Japanese. His forehand game is arguably the best in the sport, and as the top seed in this event, will want to get off to a strong start against the unseeded Japanese, who hasn’t really done anything significant on tour this season.

Reilley Opelka to beat Tennys Sandgren at 2.07 on Wakabet, ATP Delray Beach

Opelka is fresh of a title-triumph at the New York Open. The American surely must be riding a wave of confidence now. Against Sandgren, his countryman, I expect him to come out on top. He has an incredible service game and that should be sufficient for the job. Sandgren, meanwhile, hasn’t been able to find his footing since winning at Auckland at the start of the season.

2.07 is temptingly good!

Ivo Karlovic vs Radu Albot (Over 25.5 games at 1.68 on Wakabet), ATP Delray Beach

These two will meet for the second time in as many weeks. Their encounter last week at the New York was decided in 39 games. I expect this one, too, to be lengthy.

Karlovic knows how to stretch a match, using his big serves to his advantage. His last six matches with different opponents have been really lengthy.

Jo-Wilfred Tsonga to beat Andrey Rublev at 1.20 on Wakabet, ATP Marseille

Montpellier champion, Tsonga, who’s had a fine start to the season so far, should be too strong and powerful for Rublev who is yet to win more than one match in the main draw of a tournament this season.
